All other rez's with the exception of Light of Dwayna and Rebirth are designed for battle-rezzing. They restore more HP/Nrg with shorter cast times. Rebirth and Light of Dwayna are far superior for post-battle rezzing in every way (maybe not dwayna, its a pretty shitty skill, but im just using it as an example).
You can use the other rez's outside of battle if you want, but then your simply being under productive.

It all depends situation and what the others are up to if they are tighed up and can't res and there are 2 monks one can do quick res. This is with rebirth as well all you do is have one weapon slot with nothing on it giving you 30 energy and swap back to your staff giving you back 15 or so.Two Hybrids would be able to do this.
The other resess would be best with point is healing has to much health you receive back.

I can see the quickrez thing with HB/Resurrection Chant, because that's what norn-farm ursan teams do, although I'm personally not comfortable with it and I really, really don't believe in mid-battle rezzing.
And yes, you can swap weapons for Rebirth, which is also true. The trouble is that Rebirth also disables the rezzed party's skillbar for a period of time, and resurrects with 25% health and 0 energy. In the heat of battle, this fellow is going to become the prime target. No point spending all that energy just to watch him die again, is it? Furthermore, um, I'd much rather spend that 30 energy keeping the rest of the party alive and Rebirth after it's over, where everyone has time to regen.
If I'm PUGging, even though Rebirth would teleport the guy to me, where it's theoretically safe... I kind of doubt the ability of your average pug to pull, or tank, or form an ursan wall. If I'm with a guildie team - well, my guildies know very well that I won't use Rebirth unless necessary - which usually entails situations like Vekk somehow not entering into Junundu form when I trigger the wurm spoor and dying to the sulphurous haze in the Desolation. (I don't know how or why that happens.)

That's because they are bad. Your midliners and frontliners or whatever should be ressings, not your Monks. Even if you bring a res on a Monk, you should be using Rebirth for the easy party ressurrection after the battle because if you're ressing you're not doing your job: i.e, healing, protting and removing conditions / hexes. A Monk out for 3 seconds is like saying "PARTY WIPE THIS SHIT!"

I've found that most of the people who do that are generally the ones responsible for their own deaths in the first place. =\ Also, what if there were only two people standing after a near party wipe, and the other guy was being attacked by a mob? It's a mission, so there are no rez shrines. Chances are, if there's a dead guy that won't stop shouting REZ ME I CAN DO MORE DAMAGE - he's either 1. responsible for the situation, 2. going to get shut up by fairly pissed off people who know that you can't rez because you're busy healing/protting, or 3. both.
I'll make an exception for ursan norn-pt farming teams, since nobody else seems to bring a rez EXCEPT the monks and one enlightened soul.

Yep, like that. Except mine aggroed a whole bunch of mobs in one of the Ring of Fire missions in HM, causing a near party wipe.
"OMG REZ ME REZ ME"
Last non-support survivor: *trying to hold off a hungry mob
Me: *keeping him alive.
Idiot: REZ REZ IF YOU REZ ME NOW THAT THING WILL DIE FASTER
Me: *too busy to type a snarky reply, settles for pinging every single time she uses a skill
Idiot: HURY UP WAT ARE U WAITING 4
Some Other Dead Guy: She. Can't. Rez. You. She's healing to prevent a full party wipe. Keep your big mouth SHUT.
Gotta gauge, man. If I'd listened to him, we'd have been happily kicked back to an outpost. >< Some people, really...

Yeah that is generaly it although sometimes they don't shut up untill it gets to the noob Monk remark. Then there are those who you don't know who have superior runes or forgot to check someone bar out as someone press enter mission.
It wasn't so bad when it was just Prophecies only now it is really bad.I pug Monk as Leader of guild I don't expect nor do I want help from my guild. This is to teach them something if they really need help with thier own missions go and recruit.

Words only hurt if you allow your skin to be feeble. Derogatory terms can only go as far as you let them pass your defenses.

I'm still a new monk, relatively inexperienced, but I have found WoH hybrid build can go a very long way even in some very tense situations. Also, people need to take more advantage of WoH's secondary; if you can wait for them to go down 50 hp or so for another 90+ extra healing, why not? Taking spikes into account, of course....
EDIT:
Also, a lot of monking ability stems from the competence of the rest of your party. If your tanks aggro every confounded enemy on the map, then no amount of 200hp-for-5-energy-healing can get you out of it.

If you're doing that you might aswell drop WoH and it's healing counterparts and go ZB. The thing that makes WoH powerful is the fact it's spammable, it heals alot directly and cheaply with or without the bonus and if the bonus kicks in it's even more powerful.
